The Dosifix® IV administration Set with Dosage Burette contains a metered small-volume chamber designed to limit the amount of solution available to the patient. This is usually for safety, but also as an intermittent infusion of medication that can be admixed immediately before infusion, primarily required for pediatric and neonatal patients.
Dosifix® IV administration Set is suitable for gravity infusions. It has a universal, vented piercing spike and bacteria-tight air vent, and closable with snap cap.
Dosage container 150ml, with fine graduation as well as injection site (latex) for drug addition; austomatic shut-off swim valve to prevent air embolism (latex-free); is flexible and transparent drip chamber with micro dripper 60 drops = 1 ml ± 0.1 ml (aqua dist.); and 15 µm fluid filter as integral part of drip chamber
