Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies Anticoagulant Citrate Dextrose Solution A (ACD-A) is a high-quality anticoagulant solution formulated for use with automated apheresis devices, including the Trima Accel Automated Blood Collection System and the Spectra Optia Apheresis System. During apheresis, blood is drawn from the donor or patient through an access device, mixed with ACD-A, and processed for separation and collection or removal of the appropriate blood component. Supplied in a DEHP-free bag with a Correct Connect luer and injection site connector, this solution is designed to connect easily to Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies collection sets, supporting efficient, reliable use across Australian blood collection and apheresis centres.
