The OPTIVA® I.V. Catheter provides superior insertion and ease of use by featuring an electropolished “V”-Point needle, finely tapered catheter shoulders, thin-walled construction, and radiopacity and incorporates OCRILON® polyurethane catheter tubing. This Intravenous Catheter has an ultrasharp electropolished V-point introducer needle, equipped with optically clear, radiopaque material to facilitate visualisation. OPTIVA® has Techrilon® Polyurethane firm for insertion, which softens upon placement and a flash plug with a porous insert to help minimise the possibility of blood leakage.
