Vitramed Single-Use Endoscopy Forceps are available in cold biopsy, hot biopsy and grasping forceps options to support a range of endoscopic sampling and retrieval requirements. Designed for single-patient use, these forceps help support infection control workflows while providing dependable performance for gastroenterology, endoscopy and day procedure settings.
The cold biopsy forceps range includes premium laser-cut options designed to provide a clean bite, with standard 4.8mm³ fenestrated smooth cup and larger 7.8mm³ alligator cup configurations available. An alternative cold forceps range is also available, featuring incremental markings and a softer-feel handle mechanism, with both standard smooth cup and alligator jaw styles offered.
The single-use hot biopsy forceps feature a 4.8mm³ fenestrated smooth cup basket with compact quad pole jaw structure. A DuPont™ Teflon® PTFE cable coating supports smooth insertion through the endoscope channel, electrical insulation and resistance to abrasion and harsh environments. Standard catheter length is 2300mm, with other lengths and diameters available by request.
