MONOCRYL® Plus Violet Antibacterial is an absorbable monofilament suture comprised of a synthetic material called Poliglecaprone 25 and Triclosan. Poliglecaprone 25 is derived from copolymer of glycolide and epsilon-caprolactone. The suture has a medium tensile strength and is violet coloured. Due to absorbable technology sutures should not be used where extended approximation of tissues under stress is required.

MONOCRYL® Plus Violet Antibacterial Sutures are effective against the pathogens most commonly associated with surgical site infections.
