PERMA-HAND is a sterile, non-absorbable surgical suture composed of silk, an organic protein known as fibroin derived from Bombyx mori. The braided silk is processed to remove natural waxes and gums and is available with a wax or silicone coating. This black 2-0 configuration contains 12 strands, each measuring 75cm, with no needle attached. PERMA-HAND Silk Suture is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures.
