The AVANOS* MIC* Gastrostomy feeding tube allows for the delivery of enteral nutrition and medication directly into the stomach. It may also be used as a means to release excess air or contents from the stomach. The low-profile system is ideal for all patients, with its unobtrusive and easy-to-conceal feeding tube and the ENFit® Connectors ensuring safe connectivity with the feeding device, reducing the risk of feeding tube misconnections whilst improving patient safety.
The MIC* Gastronomy Feeding Tube features a medical-grade silicone construction and an inflatable silicone internal retention balloon which keeps the tube from falling out of the stomach. The SECUR-LOK external retention ring keeps the tube from migrating into the stomach. The connector features a tapered distal tip as well as a radiopaque stripe.
