It is designed for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds where an antimicrobial barrier is indicated. On contact with wound exudate, the dressing forms a soft gel that helps maintain a moist wound environment while supporting atraumatic dressing removal. The rope format is suitable for packing cavity wounds, sinus tracts and undermined wounds.
