Mepilex® Transfer Ag is a sterile antimicrobial soft silicone exudate transfer dressing with Safetac® technology to help minimise pain and tissue trauma during dressing changes while supporting a moist wound healing environment; it transfers low to high exudate to a suitable secondary absorbent dressing. Containing silver sulphate within a conformable polyurethane foam, it provides antimicrobial protection to help reduce bioburden and may help reduce odour.
Indications: for low to high exuding leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, malignant wounds, partial thickness burns, and donor sites; may be used on infected wounds as part of a supervised regimen and can be used under compression bandaging with appropriate secondary dressing.
