Mepilex® Transfer Ag is a sterile antimicrobial soft silicone exudate transfer dressing with Safetac® technology to help minimise pain and tissue trauma during dressing changes while supporting a moist wound healing environment; it transfers low to high exudate to a suitable secondary absorbent dressing. Containing silver sulphate within a conformable polyurethane foam, it provides antimicrobial protection to help reduce bioburden and may help reduce odour.
Indications: Low–high exuding ulcers, pressure injuries, malignant wounds, partial thickness burns, and donor sites; may be used on infected wounds (supervised) and under compression with appropriate secondary dressings.
