Asguard Silicone Border is a five-layer foam dressing with a silicone adhesive border. The silicone adhesive is designed to reduce trauma at dressing changes and prevent adherence to the wound bed, while the foam core and breathable backing manage exudate. The dressing incorporates Omnidirectional Flex Technology — multidirectional incisions in the foam structure that allow the dressing to stretch and conform to anatomical contours and joints. This square dressing measures 14.2cm x 14.2cm with a 9cm x 9cm pad, equivalent to a 12.5cm x 12.5cm dressing.
