Mepilex® Border Flex Oval is a self-adherent, absorbent five-layer foam dressing that maintains a moist wound environment. The waterproof outer layer provides a barrier against dirt and bacteria. The dressing has a Safetac® wound contact layer, an adhesive technology developed by Mölnlycke, and incorporates Flex Technology in the spreading and retention layers, allowing the dressing to move in multiple directions and conform to the body. It is indicated for the management of moderate to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, skin tears and traumatic wounds.
