Osmocel® Hydroporous Foam is an ideal dressing to manage wounds with different needs and moisture levels. The fine pores retain moisture at the wound surface, while excess exudate travels to the upper pores of the foam to be eliminated as moisture vapour, increasing dressing wear time. Suitable as a primary or secondary dressing for the management of wounds, for arterial, diabetic and venous leg ulcers and well as pressure injuries, partial thickness burns and surgical incisions.
Features & Benefits:
The dressing possesses thermal insulation which creates the ideal temperature to encourage cell division and migration necessary for healing. The low density of the dressing decreases the risk of profiling and indentations from the dressing.
