PleurX™ Pleural Catheter System Vacuum Bottle is designed for long-term, intermittent drainage of recurrent pleural effusion, as well as, malignant pleural effusions and other recurrent effusions that refuse medical management of the underlying disease. The PleurX™ Pleural Catheter System Vacuum Bottle is intended for the palliation of dyspnoea due to pleural effusion and providing pleurodesis (resolution of the pleural effusion).
