IMPERVIA® Neosorb Superabsorbent Dressing quickly absorbs and binds large amounts of wound exudate into its ‘heart’ of Superabsorbent polymers. It is suitable for heavily exuding wounds, exudate management under compression therapy and suitable for protection of clothing and linen.

 

IMPERVIA® Neosorb Superabsorbent Dressing has an outer ‘envelope’ that is adhesive-free, ultrasonically bonded which increases conformability and minimises risk of possible skin reactions.  IMPERVIA® Neosorb Superabsorbent Dressings possess high fluid retention of up to more than 30 times its dry weight and outward wicking of fluid which pushes liquid outwards instead of upwards thus providing minimal change in the thickness of the dressing. They also have a characteristic dry contact surface as any exudate is bound in the SAP absorbent core.  It is also larger than the absorbent core, allowing outward not upward expansion of core.
