Proximel Silicone Foam dressings feature a unique five-layer design that promotes healing and supports pressure injury prevention by quickly and effectively managing wound exudate while reducing and redistributing pressure at the injury site. The dressing can be worn for up to 7 days as wound healing progresses from heavy to moderate to light levels of exudate.

The Absorbent Polyurethane foam layer has exceptional fluid handling capabilities and offers additional comfort and cushioning protection to the user. The non-woven later spreads fluid from exudate to a wide surface which enhances absorption performance, and the superabsorbent core extends the dressing’s absorption capabilities. The final, protective backing layer completes the dressing, making it smooth and comfortable for the user as well as waterproof and bacteria proof.
