Notification of support program transition for Genotropin, Ngenla and Somavert patients. Vital Medical Supplies “Needles and Sharps Containers program” is transitioning to “Pfizer Flex™” website

The Vital Medical Supplies pharmacy program for free needles and/or sharps containers has now closed.

Please see below messaging from Pfizer:

Dear Pharmacist,

The Vital Medical Supplies pharmacy program for free needles and/or sharps containers has now closed.

A new program is available for eligible patients to continue receiving free needles, sharps containers and now also starter kits (for new patients) as well. In this new program, ordering of injection accessories will be managed by the patient/carer themselves, and items will be delivered directly to the patient’s home. Patients can enrol on the the Pfizer Flex™ website https://www.pfizerflex.com.au/

If you have a patient previously receiving free needles and sharps containers under the Vital Medical Supplies program, please encourage them to visit https://www.pfizerflex.com.au/ and register to continue receiving injection accessories delivered to their home address.

TIP: You can download a flyer to give to your patient to explain the program and direct them to the new website.

Thank you for your participation in the Vital Medical Supplies program. I believe the upcoming new program will continue to meet the needs of your patients.

Should you have any questions about this change, please call Pfizer Medical Information on 1800 675 229 8am-5pm AEDT, Mon-Fri or via www.pfizermedicalinformation.com.au for assistance.

Sincerely,

Andrew Biady
